 Today we began class by presenting our JamBoard. I am very pleased with how by board came out. It fits in with all of the criteria. I think I did well. I'm looking forward to the rest of the day. Happy Tuesday!

 Our Origin myths were due in class today. Mr. Rease went over submission directions. After that we started a new assignment. It's kind of like a mood board of our myths. Happy Monday! Here's to a good week!

It's Friday! Today we began class with a short quiz. We had to read an origin myth and then answer 4 questions. Once we were done with the quiz we started working on our Navajo creation stories. I'm so ready for the weekend. Happy Friday!

 Today is the first block period of this class. That means we have much more time in class today. We began by going over the Navajo creation story assignment. Mr.Rease explained the rubric to the whole class. Once we were done with that the we began working. We each started forming our own creative stories. I'm excited to see where my story goes. Happy Thursday!

Today was the second day of the normal schedule. In class today we started prewriting for out myth assignment. Mr. Rease was absent today and we had a very nice sub. I can't believe we're already in the 3rd week of school. Crazy! Today was a good day, excited for tomorrow! Happy Tuesday!

 Today we took notes in class. The notes were about Native Americans. We focused on the idea of myths and talked about what they are. We also made a cluster about 4 things that describe us. Today is the first day with the regular schedule. Happy Monday!

 Happy Friday!  Today is the last time having this class with this schedule. Next week we will be in each class for 50 minutes. In class today we continued our work from yesterday. We watched the short film "2+2=5" again. We review our answers as a class and shared our different thoughts. Excited for the weekend!

 Today in class we watched short films. I think watching films and videos is much more interesting than just reading. We summarized the films and found the themes. The we talked about our summaries and themes together as a class. I enjoyed class today. tomorrow is Friday! Yay!

 In today's class we read and annotated a article about dresscode. This article was especially interesting because if related to what's going on in our school environment currently. The dresscode at Lakeside last year was definitely strict and sometime unreasonable so the change in the dresscode has made me very happy. The article was definitely interesting because when it was written in 2008, they made students wear coveralls when the dresscode was violated which made them look like criminals. Class waqs interesting.

  This is my first time writing in my blog! Today in Mr. Rease’s class we learned about knowing the purpose for reading. Knowing the purpose of what you’re reading is very important. It helps you understand what’s going on in your reading and identifies what you’re looking for. I enjoyed today's class because lots of people were adding to the conversation which gave the class perspective. Happy second week of school, here’s to many more!
