 Happy Thursday! Today Mr. Tease was late so we didn’t get started on our work until later in the class period. We answered question on the play Fences. I read about half way into the 3rd act. Can’t wait for the weekend!

 Happy Tuesday! Today we read the play in class. I had the part of Rose. I'm already ready for the end of this week. 

 Happy Monday! Today is the first day back form break. We only have 15 more school days until winter break! We began a new play called Fences. I think that this play is going to be interesting because it is about segregation and the separation of races. Have a nice week!

 Happy Friday! Today we finished the documentary in class. I enjoyed watching this documentary because it really displays different cultures and circumstances around the world. It's cool to comapre and contrast everyone's different experiences. Have a nice Thanksgiving day break!

 Happy Thursday! Only one more day until Thanksgiving break! Today we took the Rockpile Assessment since people will be absent tomorrow. It wasn't super bad since we've gone over the story as a class. Then we watched part of a documentary called “On my way to school” it’s interesting so far.

 

 Happy Tuesday! Mr. Rease was back today. We did another assignment on the "Rockpile". We had to draw out neighborhood along with other components. I enjoy doing assignments other from just writing something so I like drawing today. 

 Happy Monday! This is the last Monday before fall break. Mr. Rease wasn't at school today so we had a sub. We did an assignment on the Rockpile story. We just had to answer questions about the story and since we went over it in class it wasn't very tough. Here's to having a good week!

 Happy Friday! Today we summarized what we read yesterday before be continued reading. We didn't have much left of the story so we ended up finishing it before the end of class. I'm so glad it's the weekend! Only one more week until Fall break, yay!

 Happy Thursday! This is only our 2nd time having this class this week. We started reading a short story. The story is interesting because it get's everyone to discuss their childhood and neighborhood life. Excited for the Friday!

 Happy Monday! Today we are reading our poems in class. I was really surprised by everyones poems. They were all very good. My favorite poem was Angie about hair. It was extremely good and I wouldn't be surprised if it got published one day. Tomorrow we don't have school, yay!

 

 Happy Friday! This week has been so long. Today we are taking a test. The test was definitely easier using the notes we took on Monday. I'm so ready to just lay around all weekend. Have a nice weekend!

 Happy Thursday! I can't believe it's already November. In class we are writing our own poems. The poems must be 40 lines. I wrote my poem about self love, because that is an important topic to me.

 Happy Tuesday. It's Halloween! We're using the same poem from yesterday again. Yesterday we read and analyzed it. Today we are answering the questions on the back of it. I'm excited for tonight!

 Happy Monday! Todays we are starting a new assignment. The poem is called "Constantly Risking Absurdity". We'll be using this poem all week. Here's to having a good week!
